These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of LKAds.lk ("we", "us", "our", or the "Site"). By accessing or using LKAds.lk, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

1.2. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations in Sri Lanka.

1.3. We reserve the right to refuse access to the Site, remove content, or suspend accounts at our sole discretion if we believe these Terms have been violated.

2. Accounts & Security

2.1. When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information, including a valid phone number and email address.

2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities carried out under your account.

2.3. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account or any other security breach.

3. Posting Advertisements

3.1. By posting an advertisement on LKAds.lk, you warrant that:

• you have the legal right to sell or offer the item or service; and
• all information in your ad is accurate, complete, and not misleading.

3.2. You are solely responsible for the content of your advertisements, including text, images, prices, and contact details.

3.3. We may review, edit, reject, or remove any advertisement at any time without prior notice if it is inappropriate, illegal, misleading, or otherwise violates these Terms.

4. Prohibited Content & Activities

You agree not to post, upload, or engage in any of the following on LKAds.lk:

• fraudulent, false, or misleading advertisements;
• content that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise offensive;
• sale of illegal, stolen, or counterfeit goods;
• content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• spam, bulk messaging, or repeated posting of the same ads;
• attempts to bypass moderation or manipulate search results or rankings.

5. Communication & Payments

5.1. Buyers and sellers communicate directly with each other. We are not a party to any transaction between users.

5.2. Any payments for goods or services are made directly between users. LKAds.lk does not hold, receive, or guarantee any payments unless explicitly stated for a specific paid feature.

5.3. If we offer paid promotional features (such as featured or urgent ads), fees and conditions will be clearly displayed at the time of purchase and are generally non-refundable unless required by law.

6. User Content & Licence

6.1. You retain ownership of the content you post on the Site.

6.2. By posting content, you grant LKAds.lk a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Site.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

7.1. The Site and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

7.2. We do not guarantee that advertisements are accurate, reliable, or complete, or that users will actually complete a transaction.

7.3. You use the Site at your own risk. You are responsible for verifying the identity of other users and the quality, safety, and legality of any items or services offered.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LKAds.lk, its owners, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

8.2. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is not allowed under applicable law.

9. Privacy

9.1. We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9.2. By using the Site, you agree to the processing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
